Pearson BTEC Level 3 Content Area A

Unit 1 is made of 3 content areas: A,B and C.

Each lesson has a lesson objective as well as the Rosenshine heads on each slide. If you are not familiar with Rosenshine’s principles of instruction here is a brief overview taken from google: ‘Rosenshine’s principle emphasizes the importance of giving students sufficient time to practise retrieval, ask questions, and get the desired help. Students must not stop after learning the information once, they must continue to rehearse it by summarising, analyzing, or applying their knowledge.’
This is displayed with a small icon on each slide to let learners and teachers know if students are reviewing content, questioning, building on their previously taught information or scaffolding. These icons are easily removed if not needed.
