With experience in theatre spanning 25 years, I've been teaching drama and performing arts on vocational and academic courses for 12 years. For the last five years, I have also been working as an advanced practitioner coaching teachers to improve their pedagogy. I am an examiner and standards verifier, and artistic director of MAD 'ED THEATRE.
My resources are no frills; what I use. They're a good fix, when you are stuck or looking for inspiration. All easily adaptable.
PowerPoint presentation with research activities/links included. The presentation introduces learners to the different types of audiences, getting them to think about where performance might happen outside of traditional settings. Designed to support UAL Level 3 Unit 2, but can be used / easily adapted for all levels including KS3/4/5, BTEC.
