Write & Interpret Numerical Expressions – Playlist and Teaching Notes

In this playlist, students explore standard 5.OA.A.2. They will use parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with those symbols. Students interpret numerical expressions by writing them in sentences. They will write numerical expressions that show calculations. Students look at examples of expressions and are guided through using order of operations to evaluate expressions. Students also have the option to view instructional videos and complete practice quizzes or activities.
