Numbers Mega Connect 4 game

Numbers Mega Connect 4 game

This can be played by 2 or 3 students at a time. Each student marks boxes with his initials when a box is won. Wrong answers leave the box blank, for another student (or the same student on another turn) to try later. A box is won if the student correctly identifies the number. Students try to get 4 boxes in a row. Includes all numbers 1 to 100. Good for any language.

Community map - for practicing directions, mapping skills and foreign languages

Community map - for practicing directions, mapping skills and foreign languages

This map is great for students to practice directions. I suggest laminating a bunch and having your students use them to practice directions and prepositions. Mini dinky cars bought at Dollarama or Walmart will fit on the roads. Students love driving around on the streets. Use as a listening mark. - Can students arrive at your location? Use it as a speaking mark. - Can students explain directions from one place to another? Great for à + le/la/l'/les or prepositions and de + le/la/l'/les ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some or all of the graphics in this resource came from Poppydreamz Digital Art. Dutch Halloween Skeleton Counting Song - PowerPoint + Halloween Worksheets + 31 Teaching Ideas

Dutch Halloween Skeleton Counting Song - PowerPoint + Halloween Worksheets + 31 Teaching Ideas

Do you teach Dutch? Use my Halloween materials to boost their learning in a fun way! You learn a counting song in Dutch. I have also included a Halloween themed worksheet which you could ask the children to translate into Dutch. I have also included a presentation showing you 31 different ways the students could then use their worksheets to create new teaching activities in the classroom. You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different skeletons being shown in each of the photos. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about the Halloween Skeleton Counting Song. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different groups of skeletons. The students can then discuss what they think each skeleton was saying or thinking. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

SPRING in the CITY - Green Nature in Amsterdam - urban photography in high resolution & free photos

SPRING in the CITY - Green Nature in Amsterdam - urban photography in high resolution & free photos

Here you find photos of SPRING in the city AMSTERDAM - my city I love and adore. In Amsterdam-city a green urban revolution has taken place during the last three decades in the streets and on the squares. The city shows now not only the well-known green parks like Vondelpark, but people started their own front-gardens and guerrilla-parks / gardens and big plant pots on the pavement through the whole city. I like to give you here by my photos an impression of Spring in Green Amsterdam and her green revolution. I hope very soon a new revolution will take place in my city - a change for healthy air. Now the air quality of Amsterdam is poor and unhealthy. A first nice step would be: the canal-boats for sightseeing, green-electric!! Just like the trams and metro already do in Amsterdam. Speak, Write and Play In Dutch - The Fun Way Of Learning Dutch!

Speak, Write and Play In Dutch - The Fun Way Of Learning Dutch!

Are you learning Dutch? Are you looking for a fun way to learn Dutch? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in Dutch. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into Dutch. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone! * Please note - these resources provide visual prompts, not specific language instruction. Dutch Bingo pack: This is a simple starter game for students. There are 114 different pictures to choose from. Select a single picture and project the image on the wall or share it with the class as a handout. Let's Talk in Dutch!: This set of cards looks at 57 different settings. The teacher describes something in the top card. The students then use this to model a sentence using the bottom set of pictures. There are lots of things to see and describe in every picture. When the students have completed this task, they can repeat it by working in pairs to discuss each picture. Let's Write in Dutch pack: There are lots of ways of using this teaching pack. It could be used as writing assessment for students learning Dutch. If you like this resource, please leave a comment and a review. 57 Dutch Setting Cards For Conversation Practice

57 Dutch Setting Cards For Conversation Practice

Welcome to the Let’s Talk in Dutch! pack. This set of cards looks at 57 different settings. The teacher describes something in the top card. The students then use this to model a sentence using the bottom set of pictures. There are lots of things to see and describe in every picture. What works very well is for the two pictures to be directly projected on a wall. The teacher talks about the top picture, such as 'In my picture, I can see two seagulls flying.'... then the students model their responses, using the sentence structure provided by the teacher.
