Countries and Languages Colouring Pages

Countries and Languages Colouring Pages

A fun and educational colouring activity, ideal for primary school students, and students learning English as a foreign language. Appropriate for students learning the names of the countries, and the languages spoken. Could be printed out and coloured in to stick on the front of a book or folder to help organise the subjects being studied at school or college. Or as the start of a mind map to find out what students already know, or what they have learnt in their classes. To follow my world first solo row around the coast of Britain and daily life as an explorer: * Free educational videos: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/sarahrowssolo or Amazon Video: http://amzn.to/2jno3v8 * Free virtual field trips: Skype in the Classroom: https://education.microsoft.com/vikingquest * Paid school speaker bookings: http://www.schoolspeakers.co.uk/speaker-listings/sarah-weldon

Articulate - Key Word Game - Perfect for most subjects

Articulate - Key Word Game - Perfect for most subjects

This is a game that I use in Business Studies, but can be used in a whole range of subjects that require students to explain key words. I have included my Business Studies example. Languages for instance could get students to explain the key word in a different language. I have used this game a lot and often use it for observations as most students can really engage in the game. It should be fast paced. I normally get the cards printed on coloured paper, each colour is a different unit. Included; How to play Rules Cards If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Primary German lessons 3-4 - Mein Haus

Primary German lessons 3-4 - Mein Haus

Using Hans Hase resources from Goethe Institut. These lessons introduce rooms of the house, there is a song to practice. Pupils play the games to practice (can play Splat on the PP). The second lesson is about using the rooms and colours to describe the house they design. The lower games practice colours (all made with Linguascope software - need flashplayer).

Transform your PowerPoint with themed backgrounds

Transform your PowerPoint with themed backgrounds

Do you use a lot of PowerPoint presentations and are bored with using the same design all the time? Here are 14 themed backgrounds to bring variety to your presentations. Most of them should also help students with dyslexia who find it easier to read from coloured backgrounds. The themes are mainly the ones covered in language lessons but can be used for a variety of subjects. TES doesn't allow the sharing of Office Themes, so these are saved as presentations. Either use them as they are and add your content or save them as a Office Theme if you want to use them in different presentations. Note: These presentations do not contain any content but are only backgrounds.

Community map - for practicing directions, mapping skills and foreign languages

Community map - for practicing directions, mapping skills and foreign languages

This map is great for students to practice directions. I suggest laminating a bunch and having your students use them to practice directions and prepositions. Mini dinky cars bought at Dollarama or Walmart will fit on the roads. Students love driving around on the streets. Use as a listening mark. - Can students arrive at your location? Use it as a speaking mark. - Can students explain directions from one place to another? Great for à + le/la/l'/les or prepositions and de + le/la/l'/les ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some or all of the graphics in this resource came from Poppydreamz Digital Art.
