GCSE SPANISH - Jobs, career choices and ambitions - COLOUR MATCH

GCSE SPANISH - Jobs, career choices and ambitions - COLOUR MATCH

This is a colour match exercise to practise vocabulary from the AQA syllabus. Students find a pair which mean the same, in English and Spanish. They then colour them the same colour. If they run out of colours they could use stripes, spots etc. If you are short on time they could number the boxes instead of colouring them in. The second sheet is for students to fill in the words as they find them and then to use as a vocab list. This is useful for a starter, a cover lesson or a homework

World of work - trabajo

World of work - trabajo

These resources will work alongside mira or your own scheme of work. They are fun, engaging and easily adaptable. Lessons and activities are covered in depth through the presentation, with activities easily printable from powerpoint presentation, as well as those attached. These lessons look at all aspects of the world of work and the final outcome will be that students can recognise a variety of different jobs, and know the feminine/masculine versions of these jobs, can use jobs in 1st and 3rd person, discuss Saturday jobs, look at work experience and understand the difference between preterite and imperfect tense, and discuss future jobs and plans using near future tense and 'si clauses'. Finally they can undertake a spoken interview describing themselves, whilst selling themselves for your fictional job.As mentioned all activities are easily printable for you to use in class. There are a variety of activities, games, tasks and slides you can use straight away or change to suit your lessons or teaching styles. (Originally designed for Year 9/first year of KS4 but can be used with other year groups). If you like these style of resources, please take a look at my other resources :)
