German: Soccer / Football Activity Pack - World Cup, Fußball Weltmeisterschaft

German: Soccer / Football Activity Pack - World Cup, Fußball Weltmeisterschaft

Get through the World Cup weeks by making your students talk about 24 football-related pictures and various suggested activities. This Soccer/Football activity pack contains a PowerPoint presentation, cue cards, 32 different Bingo mats and a vocabulary list, as well as a multi-player board game to encourage speaking and learning through play. In an attempt to accommodate my colleagues in various parts of the world I am including files in different formats, i.e. letter/A4 and tabloid/A3 and using UK/US terminology. Should I have unintentionally missed any words, please do not mark me down in a review. Rather feel free to contact me and I shall work with you to remedy this asap. Formats and terminology used are always made clear in a filename, e.g. ‘soccer’ refers to US/CA, ‘football’ refers to the UK terminology. If no format is mentioned, then the file is in the A4 format. If no language clue is included then the file applies to the English spoken or taught in the country of the website :) Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the multiple licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like these, please leave me a review and follow me to see what else is new in my shop at any time. ©MosaiK

GERMAN CONVERSATION CARDS

GERMAN CONVERSATION CARDS

THE IDEAL SET OF RESOURCES TO GIVE YOUR STUDENTS LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE IN SPEAKING - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH A FOCUS ON BEGINNING AND GENERAL CONVERSATION, CULTURAL INFORMATION AND SEPARABLE VERBS IN BOTH THE PRESENT AND PERFECT TENSE - 400 QUESTION & ANSWER CARDS WITH REFERENCE RESOURCE BOOKLETS Perfect for speaking practice, and multi-skill language learning, this combined pack of TALK TIME IN GERMAN, SETS 1,2 3 and 4, provides 400 question and answer prompt cards that give your students structured talk opportunities, and will also get them listening, reading and writing. They’re ideal for independent learning, and perfect for pair and small-group work. Set 1 focuses on beginning conversation, and Set 2 takes this further, with a flavor of cultural information. Sets 3 & 4 focus on 25 high-frequency separable verbs, in both the present and the perfect tense. Students often find these quite tricky, but will certainly be able to get to grips with the structure of questions and sentences with regular practice. The prompt cards also feature language and structures that your students are likely to meet in the beginning and more intermediate stages of their GERMAN learning, including modal verbs, word order, case and prepositions governed by the accusative and dative. The REFERENCE BOOKLETS include all the questions and answers written out in full in GERMAN. Students find these very useful learning support resources and they’re also handy whole-group pronunciation practice and reading-out loud resources. Encourage students to use the NOTES AND NEXT STEPS template to reflect on their learning, and think about what they might reasonably do to progress in their learning. There is also an alphabetical verb reference list in the Sets 3 & 4 workbooks. The QUESTION AND ANSWER WRITING TEMPLATES give students the opportunity to apply their GERMAN very practically, as they create both questions and answers for each other. This is a great team activity too. You can also use the cards for a whole range of games, and I’ve described how to play several you can start with. The resource consists of eight non-editable files in a zipped format The sets are also available individually if you prefer, each priced at $4.00.
