      Peer Evaluation Rubric for Groups

      Peer Evaluation Rubric for Groups

In an effort to hold all group members accountable for the work they do when working with others, this simple rubric allows for students to asses their peers on their contributions to the group. It is separated into four components which include participation, behavior, on task behaviors, and work. Students will rank each peer on a level 1, 2, or 3. This grade can be used as you please but will offer valuable insight into how each team member carried himself/herself in the groupwork. The rubric is color coded, and user friendly. Take your grades and groupwork to a whole new level. Students always work harder when they know they are going to be held accountable for their actions :)

End of Year (Anonymous) Student Reflective Surveys

End of Year (Anonymous) Student Reflective Surveys

I have always found anonymous reflective surveys to be a crucial personal growth process as a teacher. This simple 13 question survey allows students to reflect on their time in the classroom mainly focusing on safety, leadership, relationships, content mastery, and goals. This adaptable and customizable survey can be used as a progress monitoring tool or an end of year survey. I hope this helps open communication and reflection for you and your students as much as it has for me!

End of year review lesson, this can be adapted to be subject specific, it is currently English.

An end of academic year review with featured feedback sheet and prompt questions. This resource allows for a holistic approach to pupil reflection on their own behaviour, the impact of their attitude on their learning and their academic progress. PowerPoint allows for class discussion, the creation of a personal action plan and a feedback sheet for pupils to grade the quality of the teaching they have received. Featured L/O's: To be able to assess my progress and To show mature self reflection on my own behaviour. This is the last in a series of feedback collated throughout the year from pupils, it has certainly worked well with pupils really buying into the self reflection. It has also allowed me to develop my teaching and SOW's dependant on the feedback the pupils have given to me. It would work just as well as a stand alone lesson.

      Weekly "I can..." Objectives Template

      Weekly "I can..." Objectives Template

Attached you will find six different templates that you can use for students to create their own “I can…” statements. These self-identified objectives can serve as a goal for the day or for a lesson. This is great for students that need to work towards something specific, for students with special needs, or students that are feeing defeated. This form serves as excellent documentation for achievement of goals as well as facilitates the intrinsic ownership over growth. The versions of each are identified on the bottom right corner. The first three present the goals in three different manners. The second three have the same template but push students to elaborate on their self-reflection. This variety allows you to easily differentiate to each student to match their needs.
