A Level French- Speaking Questions- Random Question Generators- year 2

In this resource file: 7 PowerPoint Presentations generating questions randomly. One PPT per Topic (year 2). Each topic has a bank of 40 Questions. Topics are: les aspects positifs d’une société diverse, quelle vie pour les marginalisés?, comment on traite les criminels, les ados, droit de vote et l’engagement politique, manifestations, grèves-À qui le pouvoir?, La politique et l’immigration The final PowerPoint Presentation combined all the topics together (15 questions per topic, a total of 90 questions). The files are .pptm (they open as a normal PPT), simply click “enable macro” when opening the files. Great resources for end of topic recap or end of year revisions. PLEASE NOTE: -The PPTs do not include answers -The questions used are the same as the ones from the list of possible questions I have posted for individual topics. (alternatively, for low-level students, the teacher can provide students with a vocabulary list and the students label the photo). 2) Change pairs to AB. 3) Student A describes photo while student B listens attentively. 4) Student B describes photo while student A listens attentively. 5) Still without looking at each other’s photos, students attempt to identify 3 differences between their photos. Students may now look at each other’s photos and describe 2-3 differences each. Encourage use of CONNECTORS: Premièrement, Deuxièment,Pour finir Cependant, D’autre part, Alors que De plus, En outre, Par ailleurs Instructions for PART 2 1) Students ask each other the discussion questions. Encourage students to: Extend their answers Elicit more information Agree / disagree with their partners Justify their arguments 2) Students try and report to their new partner everything they can remember which their old partner has just told them. The PPT introduces key vocabulary from AQA which include introducing students to words associated with Theme 2 and social issues i.e. hunger, homelessness, AIDS etc. If you print slides 3 - 13 and stick them up around the room, they can spend some time filling in their table to know the keywords. (STARTER) Once they have understood the keywords, they can begin to look at the descriptions of the charities on the worksheet (CHARITIES DESCRIPTION).
