End of topic project Directions - En ville

End of topic project Directions - En ville

Students spend 3-4 lessons (1h) to complete the project. They learn about a town in France and create a travel brochure in French. I used this activity with my Year 8s and they loved it. I included a reflection sheet to get them to think about the skills they used during this project. I paired them up but can be an individual activity.

FRENCH ~ Traffic Signs & Les Directions en Ville

FRENCH ~ Traffic Signs & Les Directions en Ville

An introduction to traffic signs and asking and giving directions in French to places and buildings found in a town. There is an exercise where directions are given and students have to give the question as to where something is. There is an activity whereby students have to answer questions and give directions themselves. There are completed TC's for three exercises. There are 7 files in total. If you consider this worth buying, 'un très grand merci.' Feedback and comments are most welcome and much appreciated. My thanks to: cliparts.co, clker.com and clipartbest for the use of the clipart images.

German directions

German directions

Introduce the directions in German and give pupils the handouts for note-taking. There is also a completed handout for weaker pupils, so they can concentrate on the presentation. Then pupils complete the worksheet and finish the lesson with noughts and crosses. There is also a hangman starter for the following lesson!
