Spanish lesson bundle - alphabet and pronunciation

Spanish lesson bundle - alphabet and pronunciation

I used this lesson for a Year 9 class who had had a couple of Spanish taster lessons at the end of Year 8. It covers the Spanish alphabet, pronunciation and the use of accents and apostrophes. There is a PPT presentation and several Word documents to use as hand outs. There is also a lesson plan attached. The class I used it with was mixed ability and included a pupil who was visually impaired, requiring everything to be on a yellow background.

Greetings, numbers, months and basic information in Spanish

Greetings, numbers, months and basic information in Spanish

This lesson is perfect for primary school or KS3. It revises basic greetings such as "hola, buenos días and qué tal.". Once the basic greetings from the previous lesson have been covered, the pupils are introduced to giving basic information about themselves including "me llamo, tengo ... años and vivo en...". The pupils are expected to write a role play using the new vocabulary, based on a model provided. In order to further challenge the pupils, they are provided with additional language to manipulate the role play to make it their own. This provides the pupils with the opportunity to perform their role play in front of the class who are expected to listen out for their classmates' responses. The lesson also covers numbers from 1 to 21 and months through fun songs. There are also a number of games suggested within the powerpoint which the pupils love!

Spanish Alphabet Letter Train

Spanish Alphabet Letter Train

This material consists of 4 sheets A3 size, in the first 3 sheets there is a train with all the letters of the Spanish alphabet and in the last sheet are all the letters placed in circles. It can be used in several ways, but here are some ideas: You can laminate it, put velcro on each pair of letters and stick it on the wall, Then kids can put each letter where it corresponds. You can laminate it, put velcro on each pair of letters and make a booklet or a folding book, so you can extend the whole train on the table and let them search or place every letter where it goes. You can laminate it and cut each waggon, ask the child to order it. These are just some ideas ... It is in uppercase. I hope you will find it useful. In my shop, I also have this resource with the English alphabet. Check it in my shop. Thanks for stopping by!
