These notes are a comprehensive summary of the topic, and they can be used to support the speaking cards (my collection or others), to revise the unit, for self and independent study. They include cutting edge aspects of the topic, such as "La Bestia" and Trump's proposals for tougher laws to curb illegal inmigration. If you find these notes useful, please visit my shop for other batches on different units. Your feedback is really appreciated either here or at bgp@stbrn.ac.uk. Happy teaching and learning, Blanca.

Spanish (9-1) Listening Workbook Preview

Spanish (9-1) Listening Workbook Preview

Hi there! I am currently working on a new publication under an open company called RevisionAid. As part of my work, I have decided to upload a preview of one of our Spanish workbooks for listening we are doing. This is aimed at the Edexcel Level 1/2 GCSE (9-1) in Spanish and features the Ambition topic under theme four - future aspirations, study and work. Although it is made specific to this part of that particular specification, the vocabulary used is definitely a cross-over between other exam boards. Inside the document there are 3 versions of a worksheet -booklet, a5 and a5 black and white (for class prints, etc). There is also the answer document and the audio file. Inside the first page I have put a link to a Google Form which I would appreciate being filled out after use. After filling this form out and putting an e-mail address, I will send you any further revision worksheets we make over the summer. If you are interested in buying the full workbook for your classes, we expect the Edexcel one to be done by the end of August, and AQA to be done by December. We are not producing ones for boards such as OCR, WJEC, Eduqas, etc... Prices will start from £6.99 for an individual student purchase and £249.99 for a school licence of up to 10 teachers and 75 pupils. I hope you enjoy and contact me if you have any personal changes you would make and if you think any Spanish is incorrect. Thanks, Simon F.

Spanish NEW A Level translation practice & key verbal structures revision

This is a resource I have used with my 6th Form pupils as part of the new A Level course, to prepare them for the translation component. There is a reference sheet/ revision sheet of key verbal constructions and their prepositions in Spanish. There is also lots of translation practice and nearly every one of these sentences requires pupils to choose one of the prepositional constructions. The translation practice covers the themes of: music, the world of work and the impact of tourism in Spain.
