Area and Perimeter problem to solve

Area and Perimeter problem to solve

Lesson plan, LSA notes, IWB lesson, Walt and Wilf. Using a real life problem find rectangles that have the same area but different perimeters. Unless the children have studied the concepts it may need to be tackled over a couple of lessons. Lots of items to move to show the answers. The four folders go together to form 1 complete lesson. I really enjoyed this work and so did the children. Hope you do to. This is the first thing I have put on here Please leave me a rating who knows it may make me brave enough to share some other items. Thanks

I have made a small version of a problem solving display for Numeracy. You can change the font and colour if you want. I will use it in my middle area. This is the first time I have added a resource to the Resource Bank. Please let me know how it is. Thanks. I hope you find it useful.
