Research Methods in Sport

These resources would complement the delivery of a research methods based lesson with each of the PowerPoint's being focused on different areas such as quantitative research, key issues, ethical and legal issues etc. The resources are ideally aimed at age groups between 14-18 with there previous use being to help with the deliver of a research methods unit within a BTEC sport qualification. I have included all of the resources as a package. Each of the PowerPoint's are supported by learning aims and objectives as well as learner centered tasks to support some of the theory content that are included within the slides.

Football Dribbling - "FIFA 16" Assessment for learning AFL

Football Dribbling - "FIFA 16" Assessment for learning AFL

Laminated these on A3 for pupils to self assess and get into lines behind the level they think they are. Used them at the beginning of the lesson and at the end in the plenary to review their progress. My year 8s loved that it was from FIFA and were instantly engaged and intrigued because of it! I think the levels really work, hope you do too! (Used the schools crest to represent the club so you may want to add your schools crest over it) Championship = Some Promotion = Most Holding = All

Very simple respiratory system lesson that worked brilliant with my year 10 pupils. Ideally the final activity of KAHOOT should be done with computers/tablets/phones but could be done with whiteboards. Hope you and your pupils enjoy!
