This collection of 10 worksheets will help students to visualise fractions better by shading diagrams to represent particular fractions. There is progression from the simple pages where the boxes can be shaded by just counting 3 out of 4 boxes for example to those where the student has to see how to split a 4x5 grid into tenths in order to shade 7/10. There are worksheets that require fractions to be identified then cancelled or for a diagram to be interpreted in two different ways e.g. 10/15 = 2/3. One page considers the shaded AND unshaded parts of a grid that must always make up the whole.
