This workbook consists of 20 worksheets which are ideal for spelling homework. So that's a month of homework worksheets (one a day!) done and dusted. Each worksheet has 8 spellings based on one of the sounds of the book ( OO EE AI IR AY) and then a set of sentences where the correct word needs to be filled in on the line. So the pupil learns the spelling and the meaning of the word so also useful for vocabulary improvement.

Is our food a stem, fruit, root etc?. What are we eating. The pupil must write sentences about each food shown to say if it is a root, stem, leaf, fruit etc.
