I use these Tracking and Targeting sheets with my 6th Form Students. They transfer the comments that I have made on their work onto their tracking sheets. The idea is that the students and I can easily track what they need to do in order to move in. This can be kept at the front of their files, or in may case I keep these in an folder attached to the wall - easy for me and my students to access. I also ask them to look at their tracking sheet before they start the next essay/LAQ and write the target at the top of the work - to focus them!

This powerpoint covers essay planning and developing lines of arguments. I used the specimen, with markscheme and examiners report to model the first essay together as a group. Then printed out the remaining essay titles onto A3. As per the instructions on the powerpoint these titles travelled around the room.

PSHE/Citizenship is taught by a range of staff in my school. I use the skills audit to establish what skills the teaching staff have and where they might be able to assist others, areas of training required - which helps me plan our area meeting. It's helpful for planning and means that we can make the most of the diverse range of skills.
