My name is Renee Smalley and I have taught kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grade. I recently received a promotion when I became a full time mommy and military wife! Before the birth of my daughter, I spent ten years in the classroom, where I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at a variety of grade levels. It is my belief that all children should be active participants in their learning. I support a hands-on, meaningful, technology based approach to education. My goals are to establish high expectations in a classroom where all children have the freedom to explore, ask questions, to inquire, and to learn the joys of becoming life long learners. Currently, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my daughter and husband.
