Following its successful re-launch last year, The TESS (The Times Educational Supplement Scotland) has been recognised with a nomination at one of the publishing industry's top awards ceremonies.

Published by TSL Education Limited, The TESS has been shortlisted in the Business and Professional Magazine of the Year category in the PPA's Scottish Magazine Awards 2007 for Editorial and Publishing Excellence.

Widely know as the publishing industry's 'Oscars', the PPA Awards are dedicated to upholding and celebrating the highest standards in all aspects of publishing.

The TESS was re-launched to the Scottish market as a bespoke, stand-alone title in November 2006 with the assistance of design legend David Hillman. The new-look weekly now presents its package of Scottish news and features through a colorful, clean design, plus a new UK wide magazine.

The TESS is one of the country's leading professional publications with content specifically targeted to the needs and aspirations of readers working in the world of Scottish education.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on 29 November 2007 at Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
