Teacher Planner Book

Teacher Planner Book

This spreadsheet is a full teacher’s planner book enabling you to replace your paper based record book. It enables you to create a colour coded timetable (and will automatically generate a blank timetable with the appropriate number of period per day), a week by week lesson outline planning sheet, a register for each class that records attendance, performance and behavioural information upon each pupil, homework and test scores. The registers will rank the pupils according to assessment criteria, absences and upon test scores. The class analysis page will give detailed information upon the number of lates/tardiness, discipline issues, forgotten books, no homework, incomplete pieces of work and work graded excellent, good, satisfactory and poor. Schemes of work can be created and reports written upon individual students. Print outs of each class can be used at parent consultation evenings and as a record for SLT. Cover lesson instructions can also be created. I have used this spreadsheet in an ongoing developing form for the last 17 years and haven’t used a paper based planner in that time. The spreadsheet does require the use of macros and so they need to be enabled in excel, see the help page in the spreadsheet on how to do this.

Invention Weekly Record

Invention Weekly Record

Further, from a SEND consultant, my school has been informed that we need to ensure that we have running records of all interventions that we carry out. I have created this record document as a weekly intervention plan and record document.

Character Education -Evaluation Handbook for Schools

Character Education -Evaluation Handbook for Schools

This Character Education Evaluation Handbook for Schools provides a practical introduction to the evaluation of character education in primary and secondary schools. It provides advice, guidance and tools to enable schools to implement the principles and practice of self-evaluation to enhance and improve their character education provision; is intended to be a source of inspiration that schools should adapt to their own context; is based on the premise that by using varied forms of self-evaluation teachers can develop a holistic and formative picture of their school’s character-education profile; and is designed to support the recent movement in schools to self-evaluate their own practice. School-led approaches to self-evaluation are now commonplace in most schools, including the Ofsted framework whereby inspectors often use the outcomes from self-evaluation as the starting point for their inspections.

Knowledge Machine - Make low stakes quizzes easily.

Knowledge Machine - Make low stakes quizzes easily.

Low stakes testing is supposedly the answer to improving knowledge and recall. To do it every lesson, as some recommend, means writing several quizzes a day. Here is a quicker way. It still requires some work from the user, in that you will need to develop a question bank but it will randomly select questions from the topics that you choose and output them as either a PDF, Powerpoint file or Google Sides presentation. I'd be happy to share my question banks for KS3 Science and AQA Trilogy when I have them! It is a Google Sheets add on, so anyone with a GMail account can use it. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/knowledge-machine/eofjmbhnigegpbconellanfokplaljaj
