German factoids starter

Start every German lesson in your GCSE or A-Level classes with an interesting "QI" style fact in German. There are 35 slides, each with a fact, a picture. Translations of difficult words will appear when you click so teachers can decide if students need more help or not. Have a different slide up every time the students come in and they will want to work it out.

A short paragraph explaining the building and fall of the Berlin wall. Can be used as an introduction to the topic or as a one of lesson on the Berlin Wall (e.g. on the 3rd October). There are three different sheets with varying amounts of vocab help so they can be used from year 10 to year 13. Each worksheet contains the same paragraph about history, a vocab list, an activity where students have to find words in the text, a dictionary task and a quiz.
