English Correction Code for Subjects

English Correction Code for Subjects

Marking work should be consistent and show students how they can improve. according to Ofsted (Outstanding Teacher). Using this code, teachers have the ability to do exactly that. This will show students how their work is marked and what it means. This can and should be used for any subject. The aim of marking is not to correct the students work for them, as this does not let the pupil improve. Using this framework, we can do exactly that.

5 Minute Timer

5 Minute Timer

A visually pleasing and clear circular timer for children to see projected onto an interactive whiteboard. The timer works well in low and high light situations (i.e. summer and winter light) and is clearly visible from any point within the classroom. I have used it for a variety of reasons: To to motivate children to complete work, i.e. times table test. To remind them how long they have to complete a specific part of a lesson To get changed for P.E. During assessments for those who may not be able to read a digital or analogue clock to recognise how long they have left. Thanks!

Activity 4

Activity 4

This is one of over 300 activities / ideas that I have. Please browse my shop for the main file. They are templates that you can over-type and amend to create buzzy lesson activities in seconds. This one is simple - click on the yellow boxes to reveal a 'peekaboo' - first person to shout out who it is.... (easily amendable). Then compare the two people... Thanks
