Students solve the problems involving negative numbers. When they identify an answer that is incorrect, they circle the letter. After solving all the problems the students use the 12 letters that they have circled to spell a word(s) to do with Halloween. If I've done it correctly it should spell Haunted House. The pdf means that you can edit the qu's etc.

A puzzle type worksheet with 15 questions and 16 answers where pupils eliminate the correct answers to find the odd one out (the left over answer). BIDMAS topic with challenging use of brackets, indices etc. (I have also uploaded an easier version of BIDMAS, plus other topics). Answer to this worksheet is 121. Could be used for extension work/ differentiation to the easier worksheet/ consolidation of topic activity. Can be done without calculators.

Basic skills maths starters: Level 2 of 6: Nightingale

This is the second of 6 levels in a pack which could be used for numeracy across the curriculum or in y7 maths lessons. Students complete regular short starters in key topics. These starters are written in Excel and will produce a new set of questions including answers every time it is opened.
