Spring Play Plan

Six weeks of activities to help children to notice the changes taking place during spring. A full range of activities aimed at teaching children about the changes that occur in the spring months. The activities provide opportunities to learn about springtime animals and life cycles. Children will get the chance to observe and plant seeds, experiment with water and work with wool. The final week of the topic introduces children to Easter. Week 1 - New life Week 2 - Seed week Week 3 - Frogs Week 4 - Spring showers Week 5 - Lambs and wool Week 6 - Easter The pack contains 50 pages comprising of activities; areas of learning; language; suggestions for adapting activities for different abilities; list of required resources; organisation; observation and assessment opportunities; information for parents and related literature.
