Engineering in the Movies allows pupils to explore the creative and practical side of STEM in the movie industry, whilst introducing the important role engineers have in the movie industry. Through 12 engaging activities, pupils will link topics taught in their subject lessons with applications in real world engineering. AQA GCSE Physics Equations Flash Cards

The PowerPoint can be printed to provide a series of flash cards that will aid students in memorising the equations needed to pass the GCSE Physics exam. Student need to print the slides with 2 slides per page (big version) or 6 slides per page (mini version). There are twenty two equation as power, energy transferred and time appear twice on the AQA spec equation sheet. Cut each box out and fold along the dashed line to create back to back flash cards. On each card you are given the name of the variables that you should be able to identify in the exam question. On one slide you have the matching units that you need to memorise to check if you need to convert any values in the exam question. On the second slide you have the equation triangle, that you need to memorise, so you can rearrange the equation and answer the question.

AQA GCSE Physics Paper 2 Revision Session

An 8 hour revision session designed to prepare students for the second physics paper on the Trilogy and Physics Specification. This sessions is broken down into two sections: Section 1 focuses on the required practicals that are common to both the Trilogy and Physics Specification: IR Radiation Waves Acceleration Extension of a Spring Within the mini lessons on these required practicals students are guided through some of the core content, complete structured activities around the required practical and complete exam style questions to practice applying their knowledge and skills. Section 2 focuses on some of the knowledge that is required for both Specifications and is broken down into the following mini lessons: Vectors and Scalars Resultant Forces Motion Graphs Momentum Wave Properties Magnetic Fields To accompany the revision session there is also a complimentary workbook for students to fill in.
