DT feedback/marking and assessment Stickers

DT feedback/marking and assessment Stickers

Extremely useful when you need to mark many D&T projects and books. These I have spaced perfectly to fit the "21-stickers-per-page". Print stick and go, it is a very good visual indicator of what pupils' have achieved. In addition to this you can use the colours to indicate the next step or level of achievement (|A a Rainbow, different flowers even medals). From red lowest (level 2) and purple Highest (Level 7-8). I am well aware that many schools do not use levels however you can use this and adapt it to your method of Assessment.

Physics Chatterbox/Cootie catcher: Circuit symbols

Physics Chatterbox/Cootie catcher: Circuit symbols

Looking for ways to spruce up your physics lessons? Try these chatterboxes! Most children have used these at some point in their lives and will love being able to make them within class. This chatterbox helps students to learn the key circuit symbols required for secondary school/high school. These are great to use at any point during the curriculum. I have used these with students aged between 11 and 18 and they have all loved them! Two files are included. One with colour and the other without depending on your needs. Either way I recommend allowing students to decorate their chatterboxes however they like to encourage personal learning.

Valentines STEAM: Create a Valentines Card with Circuit Stickers

Valentines STEAM: Create a Valentines Card with Circuit Stickers

Children will evaluate different Valentines cards before designing their own with circuit stickers. If you don’t have access to Chibitronics circuit stickers, you can improvise with small LEDs and wire or copper tape. Graphite pencil lead also works well (as well as aluminum foil in a pinch), and the children will be shown how to do this during the prototyping stage of the design process. This unit will follow 2014 National Curriculum of England’s Design Technology objectives. A digital copy for editing and sharing on Google Classroom and Seesaw is available by following the link provided with download.

Facebook 'like' thumbs up

Facebook 'like' thumbs up

A page of facebook thumbs up 'like' buttons that can be printed and laminated. I use these during self and peer assessment both individual and group. Students are able to 'like' a piece of work, which initiates discussion.
