This lesson is the 8th in a series of lessons that helps students understand the fundamentals of binary numbers and binary arithmetic. This lesson is appropriate for the Edexcel GCSE Computer Science course and for students studying for higher grades. It builds on the previous lesson where students compared binary multiplication with denary multiplication. This lesson demonstrates one method for working with signed integers represented in binary format.
