KS3 Spa Viva 1 Module 3.3 to 3.5 plus Assessment Revision Lesson 75 min - 4 resources

KS3 Spa Viva 1 Module 3.3 to 3.5 plus Assessment Revision Lesson 75 min - 4 resources

This completes the third module of Year 7 using the Viva 1 textbook as a basis for the course. Two lessons are available for 3.1 and 3.2 with this bundle combining 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 and a revision lesson for the assessments. My 75-minute lessons are very structured with clear learning objectives and learning checks for each lesson objective. The learning objectives go over the two lessons and the lessons reference each other to reinforce learning. The objectives can be edited to reflect the KS3 assessment system in your school, allowing you to customise the learning for your pupils. Each lesson is easy enough to edit into 2 lessons if you teach hour-long lessons or lesson plus extension activities. Best when used with the textbook and the electronic resources.

SPANISH TELLING TIME GAMES

SPANISH TELLING TIME GAMES

PERFECT FOR PRACTISING HOW TO TELL THE TIME IN SPANISH - SIX GAMES, SIX CHALLENGES, WITH EVERY ANALOGUE CLOCK TIME! This is a whole-group lively & communicative language learning game. The repetitive nature of the questions and answers, supported by the visual prompt of the clock faces, makes it perfect for practising, reinforcing & refreshing how to tell the time in SPANISH. The game has a multi-skill focus: listening, speaking & reading, with an important bonus focus on social interaction and participation. It’s perfect for pronunciation practice too. The aim of the game is to arrange the clocks in the correct order. Students can either create a human chain timeline, holding the cards themselves, or a card timeline, on the floor, a longish table or other flat surface. There are two games and two challenges: CHILLOUT CHALLENGE with the clock times in numerical order, and the Q & A Tengo… ¿Quién tiene…? CHAMPION CHALLENGE with the clock times in topsy-turvy order, and the Q & A ¿Tienes…? Sí, tengo… . This really encourages students to focus on their SPANISH clock times! Play either as a whole-group game, or as a team game - which team can complete the challenge first? You can either play the challenges consecutively, or as a team game, swapping the challenges so that each team has a chance to play both the CHILLOUT and the CHAMPION CHALLENGE. I’ve classed the resource as suitable for ages 7-14, but I’ve played the games successfully with older students too. There are four cards with eight clock faces per page, which I’ve found to be the ideal size for students learning to tell the time, and with the multi-skill practice the games facilitate. The resource itself consists of 3 non-editable files. Please read the TERMS OF USE carefully - this resource is copyright, and for single-teacher/purchaser use only. ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y QUE OS DIVIRTÁIS!
