Timeline Template (Editable in Google Slides)

Best of all, this resource is available in both printable pdf format as well as a Google Slides editable format. This timeline template allows students to create a timeline with linked information for each event.The timeline page supports 11 events and has the age range of 0 to 17. If you need more events for your timeline, duplicate the slide. Your students are able to click the arrow and point it at the appropriate time. They can also double click the event boxes and write in their description. The template is locked, so your students can’t mistakenly move or delete the background. If you choose to print the PDF, have your students draw the arrows themselves. This resource includes one version with arrows on each event box and one version without any arrows, ready to print.

Consolidation: Pupils will match up key acts and treaties as a quick recall activity Then they will create two narrative account timelines for Mormon and Exoduster movements. Consider consequences of the Gold Rush before explaining in detail why each feature of the Boom Towns lead to law and order problems. Finally, pupils will evaluate how far things had changed for the Indians using acts and treaties to explain whether there were any significant turning points. Mock attached, follows next lesson.

This is for Teachers / Students that are studying GCSE History Cold War Cuba Missile Crisis. I have done 12 podcasts that are formatted to play on PC and Mobile Phones. I put these files on memory sticks and tell my students to revise from these and exercise. This is a game I designed for students learning the GCSE Germany 1918-45 module. This can be used to help students prepare for their GCSE Exams. The instructions on how to play are printed on the board game. This can be used in class, dinner times or as Revision sessions after school as a method for intervention and to make students become more enthusiastic to learn and revise for their GCSE. Whole lesson aimed at KS3 exploring Elizabethan/Tudor entertainment. Pupils examine an image of bear baiting and infer what they think is happening they read a source and add to/alter their description they self assess it they explore other types of entertainment finally they apply their knowledge by creating a poster for a spectator-fest in their Tudor village WALT: Explore methods of entertainment available in Elizabethan England. Level 3: Infer what you can learn from a source. Level 4: Describe types of entertainment available in Tudor England. Level 5: Explain why these sports were dangerous. Level 6: Evaluate which sport was most popular and compare why you think this is the case.

This PowerPoint encompasses revision tasks for the entire reign of Henry VII following the AQA scheme of learning. It includes a practice exam question for both AS and A2 for each topic. This is part of a scheme of work that prepares KS3 pupils for the GCSE reforms and skills required for KS4. Pupils will be provided with opportunities within the lesson to build on their ability to write in PEEL paragraphs, make inferences, and analyse a source to explain why it is useful. Pupils will: 1 identify what has happened to a building that has been bombed and explain how they know this using an inference 2. watch Pathe primary sources to examine the experiences of Londoners during the Blitz 3. Describe where shelter would be found and explain which was best and why (PEEL) 4. Analyse a source to explain why it is useful for a historian examining the experiences of Londoners during WW2.
