To Kill a Mockingbird SoW with PowerPoint lessons.

This is a comprehensive 6-week unit of work that includes the analysis of context, language, structure, themes and main characters. All resources are provided (16 files in total). In addition, time in the 6 weeks is set aside for whole-class reading and suitable guided reading questions are provided. Lessons include opportunites for paired and group work, so that students can learn from one another. In addition, two summative assessments are included, one in the style of an AQA GCSE English Language Paper 1 assessment, and the second in the form of a class debate.

It is hoped that you enjoy teaching the unit as much as your students will enjoy studying it.
