Behaviour Management Premier League Table

Behaviour Management Premier League Table

This is a fully formulated spreadsheet with a promotion zone, middle of the table zone and relegation zone (I know there’s no promotion zone in the Prem- humour me!) You enter reward points in as the weeks go by and you can order who’s where by the points by using the ‘sort largest to smallest’ function. It’s super easy to use, easy to introduce with classes, and if yours are as football mad and competitive as mine, it should be effective! I use the final half term points to see if they’ve met the class reward trip on the points thermometer on my wall. Please get in touch if you have any questions, and leave a review with suggestions or feedback. It’d be very much appreciated.

Star incentive cards

Star incentive cards

Star cards work really well with yr 7 and 8. Highlight your expectations of how students receive a star at the beginning of the term (these expectations can also be found on the back of the card). Good reward for good behaviour and an excellent way of building positive relationships with students. Also helps to get children to extra curricular clubs if spun correctly. Hand out a card to each individual student at the start of the term and it is then their responsibility to bring it along to the lessons to achieve the star if they stand out. More stars equals bigger reward for the students with the best attitude!

"This or That" Choice Card

"This or That" Choice Card

►What’s Included?◄ You will receive: -”This or That” card, pictured above; roughly 3.5 by 7 inches and 300 pixels per inch (ppi), ensuring crisp quality when printed, -Over 200 pictures of common activities in the home and school setting (in PDF format and 1.5 by 1.5 inches each with 20 pictures to a page) *Picture categories include common home activities, school activities, food/snack items, calming activities, and toys/reinforcing items ►How to Use◄ Giving children choices makes them feel like they have control and power over what they do. Although some children easily go along with teacher or parent directives, others need to feel that they have some control over their activities. Allowing children to make their own choices is a skill that they will need to acquire as they grow. This visual prompt assists in doing just that through the use of simple, concrete pictures of activities and task choices. It is especially helpful for stubborn students or children who engage in rigid behaviors. Simply select two task pictures included in the instant download (for example; art or music, wash dishes or take out the trash, recess or center time, etc.) and allow your student to select which one they’d like to complete first. This card can also be adapted for use in the home environment. It is compact enough to transport in your purse in order to assist in generalizing behavior across multiple settings. This card is especially helpful when performing activities of daily living in the community that are difficult for your child, such as going to the grocery store or running errands. ► Terms of Use ◄ This artwork is copyrighted by Roots To Growth. This purchase is strictly for non-commercial use only. You may print and use in your home, business, or public place but may not resell, reproduce, distribute by electronic means or profit in any way from the design. Behavior Bucks Classroom Management Game (Token Economy)

Behavior Bucks Classroom Management Game (Token Economy)

►What’s Included?◄ You will receive: -All 3 denominations ($1, 5, and 10) of behavior bucks displayed in the thumbnail -Reinforcement chart that serves as a visual to remind children what they are working towards *Behavior Bucks are roughly 2 by 4.5 inches each, with 6 behavior bucks to a page. Reinforcement chart is 8.5 by 11 inches. Both files are 300 pixels per inch (ppi), ensuring crisp quality when printed. ►How to Use◄ This game helps to remind students that working hard, listening to the teacher, and behaving appropriately are things that should be rewarded. Children perform better on tasks whenever an incentive is provided, which is where this product comes in! The gist is this: Good behavior is rewarded with behavior bucks. Behavior bucks can be traded for access to a variety of rewards (including activities or inexpensive items) in return for good behavior. This game can be suited for any of your classroom management needs! The rewards are completely up to you! Tangibles (like pieces of candy or access to computer games) or activities (such as being the classroom leader, or being able to sit next to a friend), can be used with this game. Rewards will be most reinforcing when tailored towards individual student preferences. (See the Reward Survey in my shop if you’d like to purchase a survey that identifies what is most reinforcing to each of your students for $1)! Reward good behaviors with behavior bucks more frequently when first implementing this game into your classroom routine. As your students become familiar with the game, you can stretch the amount of time between delivery of behavior bucks for good behaviors or increase the amount of behavior bucks needed in order for students to receive rewards. This product can be adapted to suit academic needs as well, such as homework or worksheet completion (for example, the child receives one behavior buck per 5 math problems completed, or one behavior buck per correct spelling word), or remaining actively engaged during instructional time (for example, one behavior buck each time a child participates in a discussion or remains attentive to the teacher during a lesson). ► Terms of Use ◄ This artwork is copyrighted by Roots To Growth. This purchase is strictly for non-commercial use only. You may print and use in your home, business, or public place but may not resell, reproduce, distribute by electronic means or profit in any way from the design. Unlimited amount of copies can be made for your personal use.

The Waiting Game (Self-Control/Turn-Taking Visual)

The Waiting Game (Self-Control/Turn-Taking Visual)

►What’s Included?◄ You will receive: -”The Waiting Game” card, pictured above (8.5 by 11 inches), -Semi-transparent Clocks sheet, pictured above (8.5 by 11 inches) *Both files are 300 pixels per inch (ppi), ensuring crisp quality when printed! ►How to Use◄ Younger children and children with ADHD experience significant difficulty with blurting out and waiting their turn to participate in an activity or conversation. Although frustrating, it is important to remember that they are not doing it on purpose. Impulse-control problems can be mostly neurological in nature (i.e. children with ADHD often have lower levels of dopamine, which can lead them to reflexively respond to their environment by disregarding the social norms of waiting their turn. Younger children also have difficulty taking turns because they have not properly developed the impulse control skills that come as they mature). Reminding children to stop interrupting using verbal means in front of the entire class can be embarrassing to a child with ADHD or impulse-control issues. This visual prompt serves as a reminder by using simple, concrete pictures in a discrete way. Simply display this visual to your child or student and explain to them that you would love to hear their input and have them participate in activities with the group; however, it is important that everyone gets the opportunity to participate. Hand your child or student three of the semi-transparent clocks included in this digital download and instruct them to place a clock in the corresponding position on the Waiting Game Card each time a friend/peer provides an answer. After three peers have engaged in the activity or conversation, your student is now able to engage as well! In order to reinforce The Waiting Game even more, it may be helpful to reward your child or student each time they wait the appropriate amount of turns. Once they have become accustomed to The Waiting Game, you can fade the rewards slowly.

Reward Survey

Reward Survey

►What’s Included?◄ You will receive: -A 2 page reinforcement survey (in PDF format) -A scoring key for teachers including directions for interpreting answers (also in PDF format) ►How to Use◄ Have you noticed that some of your students do not respond to even the coolest, most unique classroom rewards? That’s because what’s reinforcing to some children may not always be reinforcing to others. This is what makes every child unique, and also why a reinforcement survey comes in handy. A reinforcement survey can provide valuable insight regarding what type of rewards and incentives your students prefer by allowing each child to give you direct feedback from their own perspective. These surveys are simple to administer and interpret, but the data it provides is invaluable. Ultimately, a reinforcement survey serves the purpose of assisting you when you need to know what motivates a student, what kind of rewards they prefer, and what they will be likely to work for! This reinforcement survey can be used with your entire class at the beginning of the year in order to get to know your students,’ as well as for the creation of a classwide incentive system. Reinforcement surveys can also be used with specific students who may be exhibiting problem behaviors to determine what a student wants to earn in order to increase appropriate classroom behaviors or develop a behavior plan. Simply have students complete the survey and then interpret their answers using the scoring key provided in this download. ► Terms of Use ◄ This artwork is copyrighted by Roots To Growth. Behavior Calendar

Behavior Calendar

►What’s Included?◄ You will receive a behavior calendar (in PDF format), which can be reproduced for all of the students in your class. Only one calendar is needed for the entire school year. ►How to Use◄ A behavior calendar is a behavior tracking tool that offers an alternative to the time-intensive behavior charts that are commonly utilized in classrooms today. A few factors that make this behavior calendar so practical include: -This calendar provides a list of inappropriate behaviors and common locations, as well as a key for each of these items, allowing you to quickly and efficiently track the behaviors of each of your students. -Behavior charts that utilize a color system to indicate inappropriate behaviors (for example, a green color indicates “great” behavior, yellow indicates “needs improvement,” and red indicates “bad” behavior) often do not provide enough details regarding behaviors that need improvement. Younger children may forget or be unwilling to tell their parents exactly what negative behaviors they engaged in when only a color or vague description is provided. This behavior calendar provides specific feedback to parents and children, which allows more efficient communication between parents and teachers. Additionally, it provides more detailed RTI data for teachers regarding students who engage in frequent inappropriate behaviors and the locations that those behaviors commonly occur. -If a clip-down or color system is utilized to track behaviors, this calendar can be adapted to include this data. Teachers can allow students to fill in their color at the end of the day, in addition to the details provided by the calendar key. -Because this calendar is labeled by weeks instead of months, teachers only need to print one sheet and make enough copies for each of their students to last the entire school year. This eliminates the hassle of printing out a different calendar each month.

I use all of these myself as a Head of PSHE and I really hope you find them excellent value. I’ve put literally months of time into this to make these lessons top quality for my own school team. I also have a **ONE YEAR OF CITIZENSHIP **bundle (37 lessons) available here. and I have a ONE YEAR OF RE bundle (36 lessons) available here: and finally a **ONE YEAR OF KS3 HISTORY **(36 lessons) available here. Behaviour Management Zone Board

Behaviour Management Zone Board

I have used this zone board with many classes to help manage behaviour. It works will with both high and low ability classes across a whole range of age groups. Works best if laminated. Each pupil should have their name written onto one of the cards included these can be laminated and stuck (velcro dots works well) onto the zone board. Instructions for the zone board are included. Pupils start of green every lesson and move down the colours accordingly. The zone board should be displayed at the front of a classroom and acts as a visual reminder to the pupils of how they have been working. There is space on the instructions for each pupil to sign and agree to the zone board rules.
