1st Grade Math Geometry: Shapes

This file includes Math Activities correlated to the 1 st Grade Common Core Standard (USA): Geometry 1.G1-distinguish between defining attributes (ex. triangles are closed and 3 sided) versus non-defining attributes (ex. color, orientation, overall size); build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
Here are the contents (64 pages total):
Pattern Block Grab Center card, student worksheet
Chart of Pattern Blocks and names (I purposely used different colors for the shapes since 1 of the standards is for the students to determine non-defining attributes (ex. color).
Individuals pages for each pattern block shape with questions about sides, corners, color sides and corners
Shape Concentration Center Card and cards for the game (I added circle and rectangle even though those shapes are not in my pattern blocks. (The ones in my classroom.)
