Accessibility Tools #1
This video shows how to have text turned into speech in Word 2010 – useful for those with visual impairments, dyslexia and any other reading difficulties so they are able to access resources. As with most accessibility tools I have come across, I’m sure there is a huge potential for this to be used in the classroom for other purposes. What about collecting words in phonics and changing the initial phoneme? I wonder what other ideas people can come up with!
