Although ive altered the consequences slightly over the year this is the procedure I always follow. When children are in the ‘Time out’ chair I have several cards that highlight why they might be there and what they should do to remedy this. The pupils choose thier cards and write them on paper and pass them to me before they can leave the chair (This eliminates those who purposely act up to have an ‘easy’ lesson sitting in time out.
