As a non-specialist to maths, this is fantastic ! Really looking forward to the lesson.

## Related resources

Nice lesson on plotting co-ordinates takes pupils through from the basics. It includes 1 quadrant and all 4 quadrants.
There are a couple of really nice activities such as the one where you hide co-ordinates around the room and pupils have to find them to crack the code. Also, there is a bingo towards the end based on Christmas presents and co-ordinates.

#### Plotting co-ordinates

Suitable for KS3 and low ability KS4. Identifying then plotting coordinates in the first to all four quadrants.

#### GCSE Grade C Revision Starters with answers

GCSE Revision. I have made a compilation of different grade C starter questions to use with students in preparation for their linear GCSE foundation exam. All questions have fully worked answers. My borderline group have found this incredibly beneficial and has dramatically boosted their confidence. I hope the effort i’ve expended into developing this pays dividends for yourself and your students. If there are any other grade C topics you wish me to add, please send me a message. I will endeavour to fulfil this.

#### Coordinate Battleships Game (Differentiated)

A self-contained game to be played in pairs.

Use to revise reading coordinates on a grid. Best played once coordinates have already been introduced, as a consolidating activity.

Differentiated versions of the game within this pack, including use of the first quadrant only, as well as all four quadrants. You will also find instructions on how to play the game within your pack. Suitable for Years 4 and 5 (on one quadrant) and Year 6 and KS3 (on all four quadrants).
You will find a PDF version and editable Word version available for download; both are exactly the same, so download whichever is more convenient for you.

#### Cash for questions revision activity

There are 4 sets of questions (Number, Algebra, Shape, Data) which are mainly A and A* (with some lower grade questions from topics which students struggle with, e.g. percentages, constructions). PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. Students work in pairs or small groups to answer the questions. When they finish a question they get it marked and if it is correct they are given cash to the value of the question. There are bank notes which you can put your school name and pictures of your teachers on. The team with the most money at the end could be given a prize.
