Do-A-Dot Activities Nocturnal Animals

These Bat Numbers and Hermit Crab Letters are great to use as a part of a Nocturnal Animal Unit. You can discuss what nocturnal means, what animals are nocturnal including hermit crabs and bats. Next, add Hermit Crab Letters and Bat Numbers to your literacy and math centers, or to your fine motor center!

Give your students dot markers. For Number Bats, let them count the bats and dot them as they count. They can write the total in the box provided. For Hermit Crab Letters, let them find the letters on the hermit crabs that match the letter at the top of the page. Let your students dot the matches!

Hermit Crab Letters includes vowels A, E, I, O, and U in both uppercase and lowercase. It also includes a blank Hermit Crab page; write your own letters on this page!
