My resources are designed predominantly for GCSE and A Level students. They are ones that have worked for me in the past. They dont always look pretty, but they get the job done and most importantly, they save you time!

This is a 20hr (approx) scheme of work for students studying the Edexcel A level Drama course (Component 1). It uses 'The Wonderful World of Dissocia' by Anthony Neilson (no extracts are included in the powerpoint, please buy the script!) and the practitioner, Brecht. It assumes that students have read the play and have a good understanding of Brecht. This work allows students to deconstruct the play and examine it in relation to Brechtian Theatre. Specifically it considers:

- deconstruction of text: analysis of themes, content, structure
- key scenes or turning points in the narrative
- relationship with audience; the nature of the communication
- character and characterisation
- style, structure, language, genre and stage directions
- use of performance space and spatial relationships on stage
- use of design elements.

It also explains the component and the expectations.
