I was placed in 'Hawks' class last year and as part of our Science topics we investigated our class animal. These were the resources I created in order to support the day. I used the information sheets to get the children to create their own posters. Then they coloured maps appropriately to show where the different types of Hawk were found. Finally they went on a fact hunt where all the cards were hidden in plastic Easter eggs around the school grounds. They shared the facts when they found them. It was great for my active learners. We also created animations of Hawk puppets but I didn't have a resource for that so it's just an idea if you get challenged to do a similar thing.
