This is a great drawing lesson that really extends your students' understanding of drawing and helps them take their first steps into abstraction and expression. You might need to adapt it to suit the literacy level of your pupils, but it is suitable for Key Stage 2 or 3, in fact I've seen it adapted for KS1. Included in this presentation are links to artists work.

What a wonderful resource, thank you. This will make a great opening activity for our new sketchbooks and help the children explore their emotions during our enforced time away from school. Much appreciated.

Who on earth would think teachers would need to pay to learn the sort of script on slide 5? Nursery aged children 'playing schools' know this sort of language already. Extremely disappointed with this-my first paid download.
