Phase One Phonics Activities
We (a group of final year teaching students) have been involved in a project to find resources and activity ideas to enable special needs children with no or very little speech, to access the phonics curriculum. We have developed a range of activities in the hope that children of many different abilities, needs and interests can be motivated to participate. Although all of the activities have been devised with special needs children in mind, they may also be used with any children in the Foundation Stage. Please feel free to leave comments about any of the activities.
