This is an example of a new pupil-led target tracking system introduced recently in my Year 4 class. The targets are pre-typed into the cards (and differentiated by group or individually as required) and the children group together in 'target groups' to peer assess whether the targets have been met. If another member of the target group agrees with the evidence presented, the child can then date and add a sticker to the card. See this thread for full details:

A really useful way to involve the children in target setting - has targets for all areas of maths in child friendly language

Brilliant. This sounds like a brilliant way of involving the children in their own assessment and target setting. Thanx so much for sharing.
