Listen to an example of 'Jump' by Kriss Kross. The test should allow students to identify most of the musical features of rap including backbeat, riff, tempo an dynamics. Good way to introduce rap to the class and the class can recreate the song afterwards using body percussion and making vocal sounds for the two reapeating riffs. They can even rap their own lyrics over the top.
