Review of : Addition & Subtraction of Whole Numbers & Decimals, Fractions & Equivalent Fractions in a fun and exciting way. Inspired by the game Cluedo, I constructed this activity which involves students to eliminate each suspect by breaking codes and solving mathematical problems to find out the criminal who kidnapped Maltesers (Bob's dog). I tried this activity with my Year 7 top set as revision after the completion of the Topic of Numbers and the response was very pleasing. Students usually find revision questions boring, however students were deeply engaged to solve this mystery case. Divide the students in to groups of three or four and you can a give a packet of Maltesers to the winning group. The students will love it as I witnessed!
