Science Busking

Science Busking is the use of small science “tricks” to spark curiosity and induce wonder. You’ve probably seen a science busker if you have ever been to a science festival. This booklet is the compiled knowledge of many Science Buskers and owes a debt of thanks to the community.

The book covers aspects of biology, maths and physics. Its ideal for family events and for performers from Foundation Stage to adult!

I train Year 6 pupils how to do the busks so they can share them with younger children during our annual science week. It makes for a very noisy and excitable playtime.
