This activity was inspired by a PowerPoint presentation I found on TES introducing children to direction. The children follow a given route (either green (LA), yellow (MA) or red (HA)) and write down the first ten directions the teddy has to take to get to the honey pot. The rest of the directions I got the children to verbally explain to me. Once finished they could made their own route for teddy to take using the blank worksheet. Helped children grasp whole turns, half turns, quarter turns, and their left and right.
