Becoming familiar with these colour related words (both reading them on-sight and learning the correct spellings) will extend vocabulary - helping improve learners reading and writing, speaking and listening.

Who’s it for?
This word search is designed to boost key word reading in Early Years and KS1 pupils. Illustrated nouns clarify meaning, benefiting EAL and supported learners.

Resource layout
The word search letters are arranged in a x10 by x10 square grid, featuring easy to read ‘Sassoon Infant Std’ font.

The common colour words have been organised into four groups, clearly showing all hidden words below the word search. There are x16 words to find in total.

Recommendation
