Worksheet (Year 3)

With the higher ability pupils I would give them the worksheets and ask them if there’s anything they don’t understand and allow them to work independently. I would only support them if it is needed otherwise I would encourage them to work with each other and to do their very best. As I walk around I would ask them questions about the story to find out if they understand what they had read. If they finish early I would ask them to write three of their own questions to ask others in the class.
