Year 8 Home Learning Pack - Summer Term 1 includes 14 teaching and learning resources which cover essential Year 8 English skills and provide over 20 hours’ worth of lessons for the first half of the Summer Term - Easter to May. The resources included are: Similes, Show Not Tell, How to Write About Characters, Colons and Semi-Colons, Complex Sentences, Using the Apostrophe, Argue, Persuade and Advise, Fact and Opinion, Infer and Deduce, Metaphors, Drafting, Hyphens and Brackets, Words Instead of Said and Improving Vocabulary.

All activities are easy to follow with answers where needed and can be used not only by teachers to set work from home but also home-schooling parents and children following distance learning.
