A Contrasting non-European Country - Identifying the geographical features of St Lucia

A Contrasting non-European Country - Identifying the geographical features of St Lucia

This set of resources is designed for teaching KS1 children about St Lucia (i.e. a contrasting non-European country). The presentation recaps the continents and oceans of the world before introducing St Lucia. It then encourages children to explore some of the main geographical features of the island and categorise these into human and physical. As it is designed for both Year 1 and 2, the activity is differentiated 4 ways: - LA: Identify the geographical features of St Lucia (with clues) - MA: Identify the geographical features of St Lucia (fewer clues) - MA: Identify the geographical features of St Lucia (no clues) - UA: Identify the geographical features of St Lucia (no clues and children have to draw arrows) If you like this resource, please review it.
