AQA ‘Big Cat’ Mock Exam Papers – Higher and Foundation, Complete Set

AQA ‘Big Cat’ Mock Exam Papers – Higher and Foundation, Complete Set

AQA ‘Big Cat’ Mock Exam Papers – Higher and Foundation, Complete SetThis download pack features original mock exam material that I made up when working with the AQA board as we didn’t have enough past papers. The download includes higher and foundation papers, source material for both and answers for the first section. Please note, as I no longer work with the AQA board, I do not know if the style of questions is still compatible with the current English AQA syllabus. Even if they do not meet the exact requirements, I image the texts and answers would be suitable for general exam practice or testing.Visit my page for more great lessons and resources:https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/EngageinEnglish(Credits: source material from various online sources, see download for further details.)

Higher Order Thinking

Higher Order Thinking

This PowerPoint aims to promote higher order thinking. I used this with my class to set the scene for an exam technique lesson so that we could discuss the different types of thinking and different skills they will be required to exhibit in their essay writing. This was useful in helping students understand what is expected of them in the classroom and outside of the classroom in order for them to be successful. Lots of great opportunities for debate and discussion.
